Hosting & Domain Disclaimer

At Weblico, we believe in full transparency. To make sure clients understand what’s included and what’s not, this page outlines the responsibilities and costs related to hosting and domain registration.

1. Hosting & Domain Costs

  • Launch Plan Clients are responsible for covering hosting and domain registration fees.
  • Typical costs: Domain (R120 – R200/year), Hosting (R80 – R150/month), depending on the provider and package.
  • Costs may increase if the project requires additional storage, advanced hosting, or premium services.

2. Client Ownership

  • All domains and hosting accounts remain the client’s property.
  • Weblico assists with setup and configuration but does not claim ownership of the accounts.
  • Clients have full access to their hosting and domain accounts at all times.

3. Third-Party Providers

  • Domains and hosting are provided by third-party companies (e.g., Afrihost, Bluehost, SiteGround).
  • Weblico has no control over pricing, uptime, or policies of these providers.
  • Any service issues (downtime, billing disputes, or domain expirations) are the client’s responsibility to resolve with the provider.

4. Weblico’s Role

  • We guide clients in selecting the most suitable hosting and domain plan.
  • We configure the hosting environment, install WordPress, and ensure the website is properly set up.
  • For Growth and Flexi plan clients, Weblico may manage hosting on behalf of the client, if requested.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • Weblico is not liable for outages, downtime, or data loss caused by third-party providers.
  • We are not responsible for missed renewals if the client fails to update billing or payment details with their provider.
  • Clients are encouraged to enable automatic renewals and maintain updated contact information with their hosting/domain provider.

6. Recommendations

  • We recommend reputable providers that balance cost, performance, and support.
  • We encourage clients to budget realistically for ongoing hosting and domain costs as part of running a professional website.
